The Six Sigma methodology seeks to eliminate waste in all business
processes, transforming it into investment currency for growth. It is a
statistical measurement that reflects process capability, perfectly
correlated to characteristics that include defects per unit, parts per
million defective, and the probability of failure or error.
Six Sigma asserts there is a measurable and direct relationship
between product defects and customer dissatisfaction. It uncovers the true
value by implementing a data-driven process that focuses on bottom-line results.
SIX SIGMA DEPLOYMENT FOR OUR CLIENTS
The Six Sigma
Deployment is summarized as per the following phases. The deliverables and
the ROI is listed below:
PHASE
I:
Commitment
Phase, for a two-week period, essentially aimed at providing initial training
and project identification, covering typically eight consulting days.
PHASE
II:
Initial Success
Phase, spreading over 13-22 weeks, primarily addressing to further training
and completion of two Six Sigma projects. This involves typically 52-80 consulting
days.
PHASE
III:
The
implementation Phase, spreading over 13-31 weeks, with typically 52-81
consulting days. During this period, eight additional projects are scheduled
to be completed.
TOTALLY,
Thus, the
proposal could cover a 28- 55week consultancy period, with 86-169 consulting
days, aimed at completing Four Six Sigma projects.

Within this
28-55 week period of consultancy, AFOES Consultants deliverables are:
1. Training
one/four Black Belt
2. Training
Two/four Champions
3. Training Four
Green Belts
4. Completing
Four/Ten Six Sigma projects

SELF SUFFICIENCY
At the end of
the three phases an organization should be totally self sufficient for successful
deployment of trained and certified Six Sigma practitioners in the form of
Black Belts, Green Belts and Champions.
The organization
may then need the services of Master Black Belt or his team only for periodic
reviews to fine-tune the process.
